2 days in a row?

Two days in a row...blogging again!
Today I went to a great place for breakfast...biscuits and gravy - YUM!! A friend of mine back in high school introduced me to the delicious heart clogging breakfast wonder.
A meandering trip to the grocery store. I love when I can just shop, no list and no time limit...can find new and exciting things. Albeit dangerous on the wallet, it can make for a good experience. My trick is to try to keep the non list shopping trips to items on sale and if they are not on sale then don't buy... right just as easy as that.

I would like to promote Dunn Bros! I had a delicious Wildberry smoothie today. Far better than the smoothies at McDonalds (while being a nice choice for a treat) I would highly recommend!

Vikings game on tonight, should be a fun one to watch.

A GOOD, BAD AND GOOD

I am going to start a detox cleanse, it is a 7 day cleanse. supposed to clean out all the toxins and extra nastyness in my body. I am exited for it to arrive. Meanwhile I think to myself, "self, better load up on all the bad stuff now so that when it comes time to really concentrate on eating healthy its out of your mind" Wrong idea... so reluctantly I did not have the second pumpkin spice latte and no giant cookie. however, a steak or maybe scallops are on the menu for tonight.

I hit the gym for the first time in 2 weeks today. the hardest part was driving there and turning on the machine. it is amazing how I can psyche myself out of most anything, always a good reason to not do the things that are good for me and to do the things that are not good for me.
Well after a week long battle of digestive track turmoil I am bound to reconnect with my healthy wannabe granola self and get my butt to the gym and off the couch.

after my soap box episode of healthy-ness. I think I will make the peanut bars Shelly posted about for a Halloween treat. Ok, so I am human and if I make the bars, take them to work and only eat 2-3 instead of the entire pan, then I am in a good place.
